I post tips all the time but wanted to share some for the recent members and important reminders.
Firstly you will have ups. You will not lose every single day, our bodies are not designed too either. Please stop comparing this to the OP protocol, you eat such low calories that it will hurt you big time, but this is a journey guys. The people who have done the best have realistic notions of this journey and they view each day as a new start.
The average weight loss on a regular diet is 1-2 pounds per week. Thin Deluxe is definitely more than that, I’ve seen any where from 3-10 pounds in a single week but remember we are not all the same! You can not compare your weightloss to anyone else, as long as you’re losing week after week that is important. You don’t know if you have a slower metabolism then someone else.
You could be up for a variety of reasons:
1. Eating to late- your body doesn’t have the ability to metabolize the same and your calories will burn later resulting in an up your body will hold on to the sodium. Try and have an eating window you stick too or weigh the same time every single day.
2. No BM- it’s volume! So take magnesium citrate every day!
3. Hidden sugars. Trust me they can be in things you think are protocol, this is why keeping a journal or food app is important. If you’re stalling try a different meal plan or switch things up.
4- Lack of sleep or stress! You can have higher levels of cortisol which can stall you.
5- Not drinking your 90ozs of water!!! This is the most common one! If you’re up and didn’t drink water that is why! Get it in! You will have losses trust me! Drink it with a straw but get it in!
6- Not counting, measuring or weighing. I can eye ball things but you could be going over in calories. Start measuring!
7- To many fats and snacks! Look what you’re having and adjust. I cannot have Ezekiel bread on the same day as Atkins or skinny popcorn. If you’re noticing a theme adjust. Watch things like cheese, peanut butter and coconut oil.
8- Not eating enough or burning calories without eating them back. This is a huge culprit. Your body will take water and store it because you’re in a deficit.
9- You are about to have a fat release! I posted this diagram but when you’re going to have a big drop your body stores it as water as your metabolism is burning fat and then bam! You’ll have a small up and then bam a 1-2 pound drop overnight.
10- You’re stalled or at a set weight. It happens especially losing weight quickly or having things that aren’t protocol. Do a correction day or just wait it out. You’ll lose again I promise.
This is your own personal journey, you want to lose the weight at your body’s pace or it will be harder to maintain. Think about where you started.. think about what you have lost and keep staying positive! 💜🧡💜🧡🔥🧡💜
